기도 용사님들께,
어느덧 뜨겁게만 느꼈졌던 날씨가 이제는 따스함으로 바뀌였습니다. 아름다운 추수의 계절, 아름답게 옷갈아있고 나온 맛있는 과일과 여러가지 곡식들이 춤을추는 들녁을 바라보며 농부들의 노고를 또한 그분께서 풍성한 열매 채워주심에 뿌듯한 기쁨이 넘칩니다.
저희 딸의 수술과 빠른회복을 위해 전 직원이 함께 기도해주심을 진심으로 감사드립니다. 정말 뺀2개의 이빨이 인파선을 통해 급하게 염증이 퍼져버려 심장과 폐까지… 그래서ENT에서 한번 흉부과에서 한번 모두 큰 수술을 2번이나 하는 어려움을 통해 오직 믿음만을 붙잡았습니다. 이런 시련을 인내하며 소망가운데 기다릴때 더 큰 축복으로 인도하실 것을 믿기때문입니다.
저희는 9월19일 중국으로 돌아왔고, 딸 스테파니는 빠른 회복중에 있지만 수술한 부분이 아직도 통증이 심해 힘들어하고 있습니다. 계속해서 기도 부탁드립니다.

2. BTCP (B. Teaching Center for Pa’tor/Leader)를 위해
3. 주일학교 선생 훈련을 위해
4. 가정회사들이 계속해서 성장해나가도록

7. 저희부부는 영육간으로 지쳐있는데 다시 충전되도록
8. 풍성한 열매로 그분을 기쁘시게 할 수 있도록

할렐루야, 하나님의 은혜는 저희의 기대보다 훨신 크십니다. 스테파니는 어제 병원에서 퇴원했습니다. 기도해 주신 모든 분께 어떻게 감사의 인사를 드려야 할지 모르겠습니다. 딸은 일주일 정도 후 실밥을 뽑는대로 돌아갈 것 같습니다. 온전한 회복을 위해 조금 더 기도해 주시기를 부탁드립니다. 저희 부부도 또한 선교지로 돌아갈 수 있게 됐네요.
기도해 주시는 분들 때문에 하나님께 감사를 그칠 수 없네요.

Dear Prayer Partners,
Praise the Lord! His mercy and grace has been much greater than our expectations for our daughter Stephanie who had undergone two surgeries and was able to walk out of the hospital yesterday.
It’s all due to the prayers and supports you all have given for her and we all including Stephanie can’t express our gratitude to you all. We believe that she can travel after the final visit to the hospital for her stitches removed in a week. Please continue to lift her up for her complete recovery and also us as we return to our entrusted work for the local people.
Again we thank our Father for you all who are so generous in your prs and helps for us all in times of needs.

Dear Brother Edwin,
Thank you all so much for your prs and concerns that definitely helped our daughter Stephanie has gone through a couple of surgeries well without any complications, although she still is having so much pains and need of staying in the hospital bed another week or so. We really thank our Father for his grace and mercy on her recent illness and her whole life in general. We believe that this experience should make her a new person and start her life in the light of our Lord. Please pray continually for her as she gains a full recovery quickly and returns mothering to her infant son.

이미 목 주변의 수술은 잘 됐고, 심장 위쪽과 주변부위 수술이 있을 예정입니다.
고름을 빼낸 목 주변이 염증없이 아물도록 기도 부탁 드립니다.

I and Kay appreciated all of your prayers for our daughter Stephanie and we ask you to continue to remember her as she’s awaiting for another round of surgery on Thursday 9/6,
As I earlier mentioned, the first part of surgery around the neck has been done safely and now the top of her heart and its adjacent area have to be cleaned up, mostly getting rid of pus from inflamed neck unless there are other damagaes.

긴급한 기도제목입니다. 중보를 부탁합니다.
딸이 저희를 보러 중국에 방문 중이었는데, 일반적인 과정을 밟아 사랑니를 두 개 뽑았습니다.
그런데 경과가 썩 좋지 않습니다. 볼이 붓고 고열이 나기 시작했습니다.
치과의사는 몇일 내 가라앉고 괜찮아질 것이라고 했지만, 이게 점점 악화되고 있습니다.
부어있는 곳이 더 넓게 확대되어 목 전체로, 가슴 쪽으로 내려오고 있습니다.
인근 병원에 데려갔더니 더 큰 병원이나 한국으로 데려가 치료하라고 합니다........... (아래 전문)
(한국으로 가기까지 걸리는 시간보다 상황이 더 급박한 것 같습니다)

Dear Prayer partners,
We have an urgent prayer request for our daughter Stephanie Koo;
While Stephanie was visiting with us in China, she had two wisdom teeth pulled out by a usual procedure. A couple days later she developed a swelling on cheek and a high fever. But the dentist suggested it would calm down in a few days and she waited a week, but it got worse and then the swelling widened to whole neck and down to chest area. So we took her to a local hospital and the doctors there suggest to take her a bigger hospital or Korea. It was so critical that she had to stay in the hospital for a week to be able to travel to Korea. She went through a surgery to mend her infected thyroid and neck by an emergent operation as she arrived at the Hospital in Korea but there’s more infected area down to the top of heart and nearby to be examined into by Cardiology Dept. Please pray for recovery from the initial surgery and the other infected area may not be as serious as initially checked by ENT surgeon. She is resting at the hospital and on Monday, 9/3/12 other doctors will exam over her other infected area.
