Hi Prayer Team,

Would you pray with us tomorrow?

We've been befriending our neighborhood kids and after several weeks of bike riding together on the street and playing in each other's front yards, I found out yesterday that the other kids call each other (and to our kids) names like, "loser," "chicken," "idiot"--things that we obviously don't prefer!

We would love for these kids to come to faith in Jesus and have transformed lives from the inside. We're praying for them and looking for opportunities to shine Christ into their lives.

Saturday morning (2/18), Julia is starting a girls' club she created called, The Friendship Club, for her church friends and our neighborhood friends.

We're praying that God would use this Club and other interactions with our neighbors to introduce Jesus to them.  3 of the neighborhood kids are Mu*slim (this family in particular is really broken and complex, as the step mom has told me their background--my heart goes out to the kids especially).

Would you pray with us? Tomorrow, one of the Club activities will be do decode a Secret Message. (It's Zephaniah 3:17). May the Lord shine His love and Life into these non-believing hearts through the Word and the witness of all the believers at the meeting.
