Monday through Wednesday this week Jonathan is leading an evangelism training to a group of 25 national believers. Most of them are learning for the first time what the gospel is and how to present it clearly. Last night after the first session all of them expressed delight and gratitude for the training. Above is a photo taken during the session as they attentively listen and take notes. We will have two more days of training, and these remaining sessions will focus on how to share the gospel using sacrifice stories of the Bible. Please pray for this training and the participants so that evangelism does not mean just gaining knowledge but becoming active witness of Jesus Christ in our daily life. |

As for us, we were able to safely complete our summer travels. Elizabeth and Eunice enjoyed participating the annual MK camp last month, and we also attended our annual meeting in Bali last month. Above photo was taken during the July 4th celebration with families of our organization in Jakarta. Elizabeth and Eunice will start new school year on August 5th. They will go into 11th and 10th grades respectively. Please pray for our family, that we will stay healthy, focus on His task, strong in our walk with the Father and filled with wisdom as we serve alongside of our brothers and sisters here. |
